Casa de Palha is a local restaurant with an area for the kids to play. the food is very good and well served, but the service is not very good, it takes forever until you receive your order and the waiters never look at you, it is a huge restaurant and it's was half occupied, I would imagine if it was crowd.... but the food worths the visit, mainly if you have kids. This is a fun place with the huge hut and LOTS of tables. But it was mostly empty when we were there. One of our dishes was grilled chicken with mixed vegetables; it was served on the grilled platter and looked fantastic. But the chicken was very over-cooked and that was very disappointing. The eatery gladly provides high chairs for babies and toddlers, If you plan to show up with a larger group, there is a large dining hall. A counter with the ability to sit down invites you to linger, and there is a dining room with chairs/tables. If the weather are right, you can also have something to eat outside.
