There was only French menu. Being a foreign tourist, it was challenging to decipher if noodles meant noodles with gravy/soup/stir fry. Nevertheless I order shrimp noodle and it turned out with great taste. I saw someone else ordering sweet and sour chicken/fish with rice and it looks delicious. What belllalalalalal doesn't like about l'Orchidée:
The price was quite sensitive for me comparing with Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants in Montreux and Vevey, However, the portion is great and the taste too. One funny thing is the staff, he does not accept where is he from. read more.

fabulous green curry, amazing soups, fast and kind service, busy but nice ambient. toilets need attention though, they are way below the restaurant level

If you have not tried the bbq buffet in this place, you must try it. Their bbq only includes 3 types of meat and 1 type of seafood(of course there are vegetable...

"Only eaten at a 1 star before to be honest, this was probably wasted on me. My poor palette cant distinguish between 1 Mstar and 3 Mstars Anyways, had a fantastic time with the tasting menu, best dishes were the fish and the lobster...Drinks also excellent im not a wine person but the experience with the wine was fantastic Dessert was good, but that was the only dish I wasnt blown away by! Service was exceptional really outstanding, very impressive Its expensive, 2 people drinks and tasting menu 1200 CHF... I wont come back, but if you can afford it, its delicious, really a once in a lifetime experience!"
