They were very conscientious about what does and does not contain gluten. Items on the menu are marked. One of the best meals I've had in Switzerland.

"We stayed at this hotel 5 nights and ate all our suppers here because we were half board. The room was perfect for us and the location excellent. the food was so delicious and the staff could not have ben nicer. I wish we could give more stars to this fantastic place!"

"As I was the first person to write a TA review of this wonderful bar five years ago, I feel compelled, five years later, to pen an update. I'm happy to say it's even better than I remembered and, since the first time, they now serve panini (not that it could be described as a food bar, thank God). No, it's a proper bar with a good outside space at the back where the bar staff are wonderful and the owner, Alex, is often around to engage with drinkers. We were there during the street festival - every Wednesday in July/August - and despite the rain, Avocado was rocking with a live band, a big crowd and a fantastic atmosphere. It's difficult with bars to put your finger on why exactly they're better than others in the area, but whatever their secret is, they have it. Also there's a good balance between local regulars and visitors - and everyone is given a warm welcome."

"Outstanding Thai food served by friendly knowledgeable staff with a craft brewery attached . My wife and I (who is Thai) dropped in for an evening meal to find the place busy with a real mix of locals and holiday makers. The owner (Swiss), has...a small craft brewery on site try Mountain Madness . The Thai food was excellent, very fresh and served quickly by a happy friendly team. Can’t recommend it highly enough if you’re in Interlaken a must to visit (maybe advise able to book ahead)."
