"What a wonderful place! They stop sitting about 1-2 hours before they close due to the waiting list. eating is phenomenal and worth it! we have set our name on the list (1.5 hours waiting), then went down to the toy shop and shopping around. the cookies and gravy were the best I ever had from a restaurant. so good that I bought from extra order to go so that I would have it the next day. they are also dog friendly on the terrace and provided water and lend. I would make the hour drive from kc again. highly recommended!"

"We stopped in to grab a bite to eat for dinner at Jefferson's during Buskerfest. We do have no complaints about the food, it's pretty standard bar fair and it's certainly tasty. I'm only knocking a point off because there were a handful of customers who received their meals after us, but I totally understand we did have a table of six, including some of us who had chicken which can take some time. They did seem to have plenty of help there and the service was good as well. I'm sure we'll be back, we just don't go out all that often."

"Cheerfully accommodated last minute changes to our reservation, despite it being Valentine's Day. Food and service were excellent. Our only complaint was the entrees came while we were still enjoying our appetizers. I had the Honey Chicken which was tasty, a good sized portion and moist. Hubby had filet mignon, which was also a good sized portion and accompanied by fried polenta (great texture and flavors) and assorted root vegetables, yum."

"I was truly impressed with our visit today. The food and the staff were excellent. We had the two meat plates with burnt ends fried pickles, baked beans, and fries. The burnt ends were the best we have ever had. They were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The young lady at the counter named Shy was truly what made our day. Not only did she have excellent customer service skills but she also asked us how the food was on the way out the door. That is so rare these days, it really made our day. Thank you for being the best BBQ place around town and in Kansas"
