I can't recommend this place more. Fantastic indulgence food at rock bottom prices. Amazing staff, really pleasant. This is one of the few real gems of the island. Do not miss this place if you are visiting. View all feedback.

"First visit for a couple of years to an old favourite. Despite the genial owner apologising for possible slowness due to cost of living pressures (use it or lose it! we were served as efficiently as ever. The feijoada (Brazil’s national dish was to die for, as ever; rissoles and other unusual sides were great too. Also a wide selection of amazing cakes and regional ingredients. Still a hidden gem in a quiet corner of Reading, but if you haven’t been, you’re missing out on a real treat."
