Hidden away in the Quai des Pryenees, about six kilometres from the village of Barcares is this lovely restaurant. A perfect location overlooking the lake. The restaurant is run by a very welcoming Mother and Daughter team. The menu is not large but features local produce and a tapas selection. Well worth making the effort to find. read more.

In beautiful weather you can even be served in the outdoor area, And into the accessible rooms also come visitors with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

What User doesn't like about La Casa Escandalosa:
4 of us came here bcs we saw the rating on the tripadvisor. All of us were disappointed. The place is really nice, and the staff was friendly at the beginning, but they turned arrogant when there were some issues with the meal. We had to send back the duckbreast three times, to cook it well because it shouldnt bleeding on the plate, its not a steak. We needed some bread but they started arguing with us and finally brought 5 little slices of baguette. If i pay over 100 euros for a dinner, serving some slices of bread should be so big problem. Alltogether this bar is ok for a drink, but be carefull if u order a food there.
