Started the day in Challes Les Eaux then visited Chambery old-town and drove 15 minutes to Calypso for lunxh. Terrace was full so waited 5 minutes for table with view over the lake. Ate fillet de perches and drank local Savoire bio rose wine - all was excellent and very reasonably priced. read more.

Forgetting the old decor (which is rarely important as long as the food is good), this review merely concerns the food. Whilst the fish was of a reasonable quality, the so-called "steamed vegetables" appeared to be boiled frozen mixed vegetables - quite disgusting.
