"Nice, easy staff. The terrace is very cute, full of flowers overlooking the fountain of Santenay. The kitchen is very good, homemade and it feels! *In terms of quantity I find this limit however. I'm not a big eater but the accompaniment of the main dish (potato mousse was very slow (sugar but in small quantity). *The bread served at the table was passable. Probably morning bread, not really fresh and for a restaurant of this range, with these rates, I want to eat a good bread to sauce my plate or for cheese. *Good choice of cheeses, large tray, with the possibility to take up to 5 different cheeses. (Warning the same we saw a little bit of shock put his fingers in when the tray was placed unattended... It would be interesting to propose small honey pots and/or dried fruit to accompany the cheeses, it would really be a plus! Despite these few very good points and all the dishes were very good!"

"Les produits sont certes frais, mais la taille des sashimis est juste une moquerie !!! 10 pièces ridiculement petits, qui équivaut à peine à 5 morceaux chez leurs concurrents. Nous avions prit à emporter avec quelques california du coup nous avons dû compléter notre repas à la maison car nous avions faim!"

"This was our 3rd visit to Le Bouzeron and the standard remains consistently high. Ludovic and his wife Emilie have a first class Establshment with an innovative selection of menus and a la carte dishes. The wine list is varied in both regions and price...and of course with a focus on Burgundy wine. Service is discreet, efficient and charming. Ludovic's smoked meat and butter are a pleasure. We will be sure to eat here again when in the region."

"I cannot say that there is anything wrong with Le Chateaubriant, I just did not find anything special about it. We had a quite ordinary chateaubriand for two with a side of vegetables, and while the restaurant was pleasant enough and the service fine, the meal was not memorable in any way. It could be that this was one of my first experiences with the local Charolais, before I understood that properly aged beef is rare in France. I find that beef here is served with a sauce more often than not, and it no doubt was here, too, but there are other restaurants in town that can give you the same steak for less money and with better saucing (for example, the sauce Bèarnaise at Tete Noire)."
