"I think Hermann's only does cheese and cold meat platters, so we chose to go at lunchtime and had a mixed platter. It was delicious- lovely mix of cheeses and antipasti meats, with crunchy bread. They offered a (free) glass of house wine as this...was our first visit. Service very good and as it was sunny we sat outside- perfect way to spend a lunchtime in St Valery! Definitely recommend."

"We always do this in Le Crotoy, last night we go for dinner without the children. It therefore has to be something special. Not easy in le Crotoy, but at the Carré Gourmand we are never really deceived. One thing though...don't overdo it, you are...not (yet) a Michelin star restaurant. Of course you have to eat fish here and that's what you have to do. Forget the Canard or other, this really was not how it should be (I asked medium rare and received it to red). But again, it's ok and we'll be back."
