"We have been coming to the Perisse regularly for many years and for the last year or so, under the new management of Bruno Xavière, we always enjoy ourselves. They are perfect hosts. Last night was a beautiful evening and we sat outside and it was lovely to see the restaurant so busy. The menu has its usual local dishes, always well cooked and the menu is always complimented by additional special suggestions, and the one's we chose last night were excellent. I would always recommend the Perisse and look forward to our next visit."

"Our French friends chose this restaurant from internet recommendations. it was hard to find, but it didn't disappoint us at all. we were the last group for Sunday dinner. their menu choices were not many. we dived in main courses, i.e.,...1 steak tartare, 2 entrecôte and 1 chèvre chaud salat. each court was of a great part. French fries in degreased were divine. It was hard to murmur them. tartare was excellent. entrecôte was one of the best and succulent. we had it nature without sauce. Interestingly, all dishes were garnished with crispy fried wobbles. we ordered their sorbets that were above. we drank beer and took coffee. a total of four of us paid 80€. for money. highly recommended."

"We booked ahead and asked to sit in the garden, which was lovely - cool but sunny. We tried the artisan beers which were nice, then we were served with an appetiser - some sort of tomato flavoured crisp with a radish coated in a delicious sauce. We ordered the menu du jour, but advised the staff that we did not eat meat. They adjusted the menu to accommodate us by giving us fish as our main course. The starter was a green smoked fish soup, followed by our fish with seasonal vegetables then an orange chantilly cake/dessert. We managed fine with only a little French. The staff were excellent."

"What an unbelievably lucky find. I was biking through the pyrenees and realized I was not going to be near a large town in time for lunch. I stopped to ask for help from a local and was directed here. It was quite a climb on a bike to get to the restaurant and from the outside I was not expecting much. What a pleasant surprise! The host was very helpful and took care of me very quickly (he had a large group arriving on a bus in just a few minutes). The delicious meal was prepared from scratch and the gazpacho was to die for. The salad was wonderfully creative, with a nice mix of lettuces, veggies and warm cheese briouats. He was also very quick to refill my water bottles. The food is wonderful, the service excellent and the view out the back is quite nice."
