What User doesn't like about Hotel de la Poste:
We came here as it was recommended on this site and at where we were staying. It was a wet grey August evening.Very friendly staff , food rather average I was expecting better . Wine lovely starters lovely , mains not so good and desserts , not good . There's something a touch of Fawlty towers about the place - very french , good customer service , but food disappointing. read more.

Spent one night on stopover on way back to Eurotunnel , lovely hotel with lovely staff . Nice room with great shower room . Excellent breakfast , certainly wort...

Simple, good menu from the brasserie. Like good classic home cuisine with warm goats Cheese and home made fries. Starter main for 14 eur; would go again.

"We used alencon as a stop over on the way back to the uk. Looking at trip advisor , a kaboul was listed n2 on trip so we decided to try it in order to avoid bad food like mcd for example ... the waiters , the manager or owner) were all very pleasant and polite , the food was great and flavoursome and good sized . The price is good considering the quality . Would definitely come back !"

"Another visit to our favourite French restaurant. Came here for partner's 50th birthday. We both had the Plaisir des gourmets menu at €46.50 Absolutely fantastic. Three starters, three fish, three meats and three sweets. All exellent and very good on the tastebuds and eyes! Washed down with a nice Sancerre red.How they haven't received a Michelin star is a puzzle! Merci Beaucoup Karen et Laurent !Looking forward to visiting again next May."
