"It wasn't cheap, but then the best things in life aren't! The last time I raved about a restaurant, it was the Three Chimneys on Skye, one of NY Times top ten in the world at one point. This is a more 'normal' French restaurant, with generous portions, artistic and delicious, spacious and friendly. If you're heading for Calais, it's a good stopover an hour from the port. Our campsite manager [a Frenchman] recommended it as unusually good French restaurant fare, and it is. Notable starter: carpaccio of veal. The bottle of 2012 St Nicholas Bourgeuil was Loire at its best. Generally just wonderfully mouthwatering and satisfying food experience."

"I visited this restaurant to provide a change from the ubiquitous eurofood in Le Touquet and was surprised by the quality and authenticity on offer. The menu is tight but the food is amazing. I had Tandoori Chicken with homemade pickles (even the lime pickle was good!) followed by Lamb Byriani and Dhal. Will definitely be back."
