We were greeted pleasantly and well looked after with regards to drink. This buffet is full of fried offerings if you like that sort of thing. There are of course the typical Chinese buffet fare but it is very salty. It could offer more vegetable dishes. The buffet is just OK....nothing special read more.

With the comprehensive range of coffee and tea specialties, a visit to A1 Chinese Restaurant becomes even more attractive, delicious vegetarian meals are also on the menu available. Even the versatile, fine Chinese cuisine is very popular among customers, On the menu there are also several Asian menus.

"My 9 year old son had a hockey tournament in Windsor and wanted to try something new to eat. We read the reviews from Souq and gave it a try. He enjoyed the food and the super-friendly staff so much that he requested that we go back when we were back in town for a baseball tournament. The food was outstanding. Sooo much flavour and big portions. The staff is wonderful. I can see why there are so many 5 star reviews. We don't get to this part of Ontario often but when we do, we will most definitely be back for more delicious food. I had an iced coffee too and it was fabulous!"

"Went here on valentines day. Terrible experience, food made me throw up. I never write 1 star reviews, this is my first. Had a $50 gift card provided by the Grove Hotel. When I got to this restaurant, had a reso but still took a while to be seated. Waitress dropped off the menu and I got first drinks quickly, but that was it. Ordered a chicken pizza and squash pasta.Took over an hour to come out. Paid $10 EXTRA to upgrade from soup to salad. The salad was terrible. Tasted a refrigerated box salad from costco. The pizza was cold and the chicken on it tasted old rubbery. The squash pasta was cold on the inside. Only ate half my food. The waitress never did a 2-bite check. I would have sent the food back or asked to just leave without paying if she did. When the waitress did come at the end of the meal, she still never asked how the food was. Instead the first thing she did was offer a take-out box for half of the food that remained on the table. Nobody asked how the meal was, nobody checked on us. I just paid the bill (still tipped) and left. I left the food and empty take-out box on the table. Went home, within 1 hour I was vomiting in the washroom. Save yourself the trouble. When you book at the Grove Hotel, ask for a gift-card to a different restaurant."
