"Although they have a pretty big menu with a lot of great choices, I decided to see why they call themselves a Ribhouse. It was lunchtime so I only ordered a half rack with fries which includes homemade coke slaw and baked beans.The coleslaw was fresh and delicious, not the creamy type. The baked beans were delicious swimming in their own sweet BBQ sauce concoction.Now the main event were the ribs. I ordered them dry with their Cajun rub as suggested by a friend. WOW. The meat was tender fell off the bone (so cliche but true) and not chewy. The rub was extremely flavourful, not too spicy but just enough kick to keep me awake for the rest of the work day. The atmosphere is pretty good and the staff is very friendly. The food came out fast too, which gave me time to grab a quick coffee before going back to work. Definitely going back."

"Went here on valentines day. Terrible experience, food made me throw up. I never write 1 star reviews, this is my first. Had a $50 gift card provided by the Grove Hotel. When I got to this restaurant, had a reso but still took a while to be seated. Waitress dropped off the menu and I got first drinks quickly, but that was it. Ordered a chicken pizza and squash pasta.Took over an hour to come out. Paid $10 EXTRA to upgrade from soup to salad. The salad was terrible. Tasted a refrigerated box salad from costco. The pizza was cold and the chicken on it tasted old rubbery. The squash pasta was cold on the inside. Only ate half my food. The waitress never did a 2-bite check. I would have sent the food back or asked to just leave without paying if she did. When the waitress did come at the end of the meal, she still never asked how the food was. Instead the first thing she did was offer a take-out box for half of the food that remained on the table. Nobody asked how the meal was, nobody checked on us. I just paid the bill (still tipped) and left. I left the food and empty take-out box on the table. Went home, within 1 hour I was vomiting in the washroom. Save yourself the trouble. When you book at the Grove Hotel, ask for a gift-card to a different restaurant."

"If you want a real dose of garlic then this is your place! Good spot for a quick lunch but its not really set up for a lot of people to dine in. Great for take out. Still cant find a better Gyro anywhere! Been...goin for years and wont stop anytime soon."

"I recently pre-ordered cupcakes for a work event, and was very pleased with the whole experience! They let me pick different flavours (I think the minimum order is per flavour) and they had many flavours to choose from. The staff (person working...at the counter and the owner) were very helpful in the “flavour selection process”, and were able to give me detailed description of each option, as well as an overview of their most popular selections. The price was very reasonable. When it came time to pick-up the cupcakes, they were ready to go and packaged up nicely. I didn’t have any trouble transporting the cupcakes and moving them onto cupcake towers for my event. I also got a lot of excellent feedback from my colleagues on the appearance and taste of the cupcakes. Many people asked where I ordered them. We have baked goodies at work ALL THE TIME so folks are actually hard to impress, but they thought these cupcakes were extra fancy looking and tasty. I have done a couple identical events in the past with basic cupcakes from our cafeteria, and each time I had many leftover at the end of the day… but all of the Little House of Cupcakes stuff was gone very fast! I will definitely get Little House of Cupcakes for any future events and will order more next time Aside from this experience, I have also stopped by the shop many times over the past couple years and bought random stuff from the counter. It’s my go-to for a last minute dessert and they usually have a good selection of cupcakes and chocolate confections for immediate purchase. All of the flavours I’ve tried are good… especially the S’mores and Peanut Butter Cookie cupcakes. A lot of fancier cupcakes don’t taste as good as they look, but that is not the case with Little House of Cupcakes."

"This seemed like a real hidden gem. It's a cool restored train station that had a pretty intimate ambiance. Our cocktails were excellently made, and the entrees were really ideally portioned and tasted exquisite."
