Got a take out order. Only took 15 minutes including walking to and from the big truck in the parking lot behind Steak n Shake.*Update*Kiosk ordering.... scan receipt at drink station to get yourself a soda you paid about $2.65 for. Folks are polite and the food is still as good as usual, but it 's so impersonal now... if you hate people you 'll love eating in. The system doesn 't seem conducive to people hanging out... It's been a while since I've been to Steak and Shake, never been to one that was automated with nothing but cooks and 1 person putting out the food. Could have used some instructions somewhere about how to use the soda machine. Lacked the human touch that I'm used to there. Definitely a little jarring, especially when they asked for a tip.
