"Based on our experience here, it is very difficult to recommend this restaurant. Whilst the environment is stylish and the setting very pleasant (particularly outside , there were too many problems to make our evening equally enjoyable. Let's start with the good stuff: the attention to detail front-of-house is exceptional (including the toilets ; the only course I had (tuna with speck was very, very good indeed. The bad stuff: my main course, when it eventually arrived, was not what I had ordered. My wife's main was somewhat bizarre because the parts of the lobster that accompanied her linguini were still in the shell, which made the whole process of eating it very difficult and messy. But the worst was the wait. We arrived at 8.10pm but the (incorrect, in my case main course did not arrive until nearly 9.30! (To ameliorate this I suggest that you arrive a few minutes before the 8pm opening time, but not 10 minutes before, like we did, because you'll not be allowed in. To add insult to injury, although we were not charged for my main, there was no reduction in the bill, merely apologies for being short staffed and the offer of a nightcap. We were not alone in complaining, but the staff continued to seat new arrivals, fully aware that things were far from acceptable. I feel that this place puts profit before customer satisfaction."
