We visited Pappagallo's for dinner with 3 adults and 2 children (ages 3 and 4). When we arrived we felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere and we knew it must be good as the restaurant was filled with lots of people. View all feedback.
What Moises Daniel doesn't like about Pappagallo:
Don’t bother, arrived for lunch at 1145 Saturday, three staff members standing around doing nothing. Was asked if I had a booking, not shown to seat, not provided a menu. When attempting to obtain a menu was told I had to wait if the manager could allow us to eat because we didn’t have a booking. Completely empty restaurant though.... left to eat elsewhere. I know why it’s empty. This is the third similar experience... View all feedback.
After reading great critiken, I invited a group of friends to dinner after pappagallo. the employees were arrogant and seemed more interested in themselves than our culinary experience. our waitress was inconspicuous and water and wine glasses were dirty. we had to ask what the speciality was. the food was lacking in presentation and taste. the antipasti cellar was a few pieces roasted salty calamari, bought over boiled unauthentic sausages and dried out store) arancini’s, which looked like they all threw on the plate with a few pieces dry rocket. the seafood marinara was more like a suppe of conned tomaten with a few pieces pasta and seafood in it. the mushroom risotto was...read more
*rating is one it is worth coming to pappagallo, just to taste their amazing pizza. hands down one of the most authentic delicious Italian pizzas in perth. here many picturesque have dined and eating in the rule not disappointed risotto, pasta, calamari fritti were all consistently good. at our last visit we tried the gnocchi special with zucchini cream and prawns, which was excellent. for dessert they cannot pass by the ricotta donuts or the tiramisu (very rich but tasty) or their sizilian cannoli with ricotta cream. if they are looking for a fast place of lunch, try their delicious paninis with their fresh in-house baked pizzabrot. there is a reason why this place always...read more
Great suburban dining option. that we had. bruschetta was so tasty and pasta for our main thing were nicely cooked we have dessert, but it was just okay. next time we stay at pasta!
Food products come mainly from doses, jars or frozen products! arrogantes management, that is unapologetic to take money with the delivery of the products! not family-friendly! when they go to the restaurant that does not deliver but takes excess money, then this is the place for them
Pappagallo is a bustling Italian restaurant that occupies a corner position at the junction of Oxford Street and Bourke Street. It’s about halfway along Oxford Street and away from the main Leederville strip. I first discovered this place a few months back when I was looking for traditional Italian pizza – not hawaiian, not chicken tikka, just beautiful simple unadulterated Italian pizza. Pappagallo really delivered on the pizza with the last mouthful being as perfectly tasty as the first, and we have visited regularly for our pizza fix.
