What Andy Bradshaw doesn't like about Ali's Kitchen &takeaway:
Worst keema naan I have ever purchased from an Indian takeaway. Minced lamb filling was non-existant. I also expected much better quality of food for the remainder of the food. Will be back to my usual favourite Indian takeaway/restaurant as the 20 minute drive is worth it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 read more.

"Disappointing. The menu was very small and when we arrived at 20.30 on Saturday some of the dishes were not available so not much choice left. One of us was coeliac and only a few dishes were available for them so even less choice. We asked for two small beers. Were told that they only had two left and then no more. And the beers served to us were not small but 500ml. We would have only asked for one and shared had we been properly advised. Then ordered wine from the wine list but our choice was not available and again we were not advised but brought a substitute that was not the same. The dining area is very small and our table meant that one of us was looking at a wall and bookshelf so not the best atmospheric experience either. Getting to the very small toilet is a challenge and not a good experience when you arrive. Therefore we will not be returning. There are many better restaurants in Leeds."

"I love this restaurant for many reasons, I'm a foodie and only like going out out to eat if the food is great and good value. The staff are wonderful, friendly and attentive. Great place to enjoy lovely traditional persian home cooking and have a good catch up with friends, the menu is great and you can have a true feast without harming your pocket. All my family and friends love it, we had my mums 70th there and the staff couldn't have been more flexible and engaging to meet all our requests, couldn't recommend Darvish enough."
