Not as many options as stated in other reviews. They had a vegan brownie, a crumble slice, and a savory sausage roll-type thing. Coffee was nice and staff knowl...

We came here looking for a coffee shop to have some tea and cake. The décor is cute and cosy and they also have an upstairs seating area, although unfortunately...

So glad we found this place. Good quality coffee and a nice selection of tasty vegan cakes. The milk alternatives were soy, almond, coconut and oat milk.

"First time ordering here and the milkshakes are really nice. Can’t really taste the mint but it’s not a deal breaker. We’ll be ordering from here again. Worth noting that the free crepe offer advertised on their Facebook page is collection only."

"Disappointing. The menu was very small and when we arrived at 20.30 on Saturday some of the dishes were not available so not much choice left. One of us was coeliac and only a few dishes were available for them so even less choice. We asked for two small beers. Were told that they only had two left and then no more. And the beers served to us were not small but 500ml. We would have only asked for one and shared had we been properly advised. Then ordered wine from the wine list but our choice was not available and again we were not advised but brought a substitute that was not the same. The dining area is very small and our table meant that one of us was looking at a wall and bookshelf so not the best atmospheric experience either. Getting to the very small toilet is a challenge and not a good experience when you arrive. Therefore we will not be returning. There are many better restaurants in Leeds."

"I come to this unique place often since I love the special atmosphere that is part of this restaurant. The staff is awfuly helpful and well trained. The service is extraordinarily quick. Needless to say, the food you eat is highly distinguished. I have been there often and I was always joyful. The cost is decent. I highly recommend this place to all my friends."

"Easily the best Japanese place I have been in the UK. They serve a very traditional style course called Omakase (which basically means chef's choice). It will be based on what ingredients are in season and what they are able to source freshest. Their printed menu during the meal had locations for every ingredient used! Complete accountability for where all of their ingredients have come from and I honestly think that's great. The restaurant itself is a small intimate place with 6 seats, centred around the chef who prepares every single dish right in front of you. Service was very good with the waiter being very attentive to us. Only thing which I would like to suggest the restaurant is perhaps more interaction between the head chef and the customers? I think it could be a language barrier, as he would talk to the staff in Japanese. However, one thing I liked in an omakase is some of the explanation of the dish or flavour profiles to look out for. For example, when they grated and served real fresh wasabi (compared to the fake green horseradish stuff at other places), maybe tell us why its so special. I remembered tidbits and explain to my partner that real wasabi loses its flavour a short time after grating so must be eaten fresh. But this coming from the chef would have enhanced the experience. Overall, I still loved my dinner experience. The food was carefully prepared and delicious. The best sushi I have had in the UK."
