Sushiwaka - Leeds

Travelled from a different city to try this restaurant and the food was aesthetically pleasing and tasted amazing! All staff were very friendly and provided excellent service!!

Finally the Sushi night at sushiwakaleeds. Really good food in terms of both quality and quantity 1) Ambiance (0.5/1) Simple but warm 2) Food (1/1) Loved their Sushiplatter (starter), their Chicken Yeriyaki Donburi (rice with meat,vegetables and miso soup) that a friend and me had. Packed with flavors and really good quantity! My friend enjoyed his TunaSashimiDonburi as well. Another friend had ordered #PrawnTempuraDonburi which was good too. 3) Service (1/1) Friendly and timely 4) Innovation technique (0.75/1) Their food is their strength fresh and yum! It would be interesting to try some of their new styles of dishes. 5) VFM (0.75/1) 1 sharing platter, 3 drinks and 4 really tasty and filling mains was a total £60. Overall : 4/5 Totally recommended for Sushi lovers! I am definitely coming back here for some more Donburi

Been here a few times, never disappoints. Can't go wrong with the ramen, sashimi, sushi. Sashimi slices are bigger, thicker than other typical Japanese restaurants too. good service as well. Luv that they show those Hong Kong foodie shows on TV.

Overall it was good ... The salad was excellent and very fresh and had a very tasty sauce ... Try Gyoza with its very desirable sauce ... Hamata roll is definitely recommended ... The only thing I did not like at all was the king prawn in the middle of the Aomori roll seemed very cold and stale. I was expecting it to be crispy and fresh. The next thing was that the size of the roll pieces was large and you had to bite into smaller pieces and you could not feel all the flavors in your mouth at the same time. The staff were kind and smiling and polite ...

The food was DELICIOUS!!! the Bento Box was HUGE! Our eyes were definitely bigger than our belly. The staff were really nice and we had a wonderful experience here. We will definitely have to return! We ordered: Miso soup, Edamame beans, Aomori King Prawn Dragon signature roll, Chicken Katsu roll and Waka's Chicken Bento Box
