The is the classic, old school English country pub! Heritage, strong local following with an annual music festival and a great drink selection. Real ales are on continuous rotation which really adds to the adventure of visiting the pub on one of the many local walks. What DanLuffly doesn't like about The Abbey:
Do not eat here if you are a coeliac. We specifically ordered gluten-free meals and it transpires that they were not. We asked multiple times to ensure that Miles would it be gluten-free. We were assured they would be. Three hours after leaving one of our party has spent two hours in bed and a further 30 minutes throwing up. We would not recommend. View all feedback.
