What User likes about Wagamama:
great food....Fantastic service, ask for hasteen! wagamamas eating is always good, but what triggered this review is the customer service here. our waitress, hurrying, was just amazing. she was professional and friendly. this goes through the service with a smile to real warm and welcome. no question is much annoyed. for future visits, we will specifically request a hurry service and will be very happy to wait for a... What User doesn't like about Wagamama:
I love the Katusu-Curry, ripen and gyoza. a trusted chain, but they don't make a wee at the bottle. it is also very much a fast food variety, but without fast food prices. what to order: gyoza (I recommend the ente gyoza) when go: anytime, good for all occasions/times what makes it unique: I should ramen say, but for me it is the silky smooth Japanese curry sauce View all feedback.

"Disappointing. The menu was very small and when we arrived at 20.30 on Saturday some of the dishes were not available so not much choice left. One of us was coeliac and only a few dishes were available for them so even less choice. We asked for two small beers. Were told that they only had two left and then no more. And the beers served to us were not small but 500ml. We would have only asked for one and shared had we been properly advised. Then ordered wine from the wine list but our choice was not available and again we were not advised but brought a substitute that was not the same. The dining area is very small and our table meant that one of us was looking at a wall and bookshelf so not the best atmospheric experience either. Getting to the very small toilet is a challenge and not a good experience when you arrive. Therefore we will not be returning. There are many better restaurants in Leeds."

"Easily the best Japanese place I have been in the UK. They serve a very traditional style course called Omakase (which basically means chef's choice). It will be based on what ingredients are in season and what they are able to source freshest. Their printed menu during the meal had locations for every ingredient used! Complete accountability for where all of their ingredients have come from and I honestly think that's great. The restaurant itself is a small intimate place with 6 seats, centred around the chef who prepares every single dish right in front of you. Service was very good with the waiter being very attentive to us. Only thing which I would like to suggest the restaurant is perhaps more interaction between the head chef and the customers? I think it could be a language barrier, as he would talk to the staff in Japanese. However, one thing I liked in an omakase is some of the explanation of the dish or flavour profiles to look out for. For example, when they grated and served real fresh wasabi (compared to the fake green horseradish stuff at other places), maybe tell us why its so special. I remembered tidbits and explain to my partner that real wasabi loses its flavour a short time after grating so must be eaten fresh. But this coming from the chef would have enhanced the experience. Overall, I still loved my dinner experience. The food was carefully prepared and delicious. The best sushi I have had in the UK."
