We decided to go for something to eat after calling for a drink earlier in the week and finding the pub really friendly and welcoming. It has a lovely atmosphere, very friendly efficient staff and the decor is beautiful. Would recommend a visit. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Woolpack Inn:
during this visit in the wollpack my selection was not available and the meal I ordered was returned due to the cold. it was returned hot after inserting into the microshaft. the cocktails were nice, but they did not have the ingredients for several that limited our choice. I ate there before I was very impressed by eating, this time I was disappointed that I was afraid. View all feedback.
It was difficult to enjoy our food and have a conversation with dogs barking constantly. I don't mind dogs being allow in bars, I own one, but maybe a separate dining area for those of us who want to eat in peace. I would describe this establishment more of a very friendly local public house than a restaurant.
Lovely warm welcome. Food was lovely, and very good value. Kids meals were huge. Only problem was the music was too loud, and it was so warm inside.

Nice friendly atmosphere, good decor, service was good and bar staff very hospitable. Slight delay with food due to a power fault but food it was good when it arrived. Selection of dishes just right. Have already booked again for another meal. Ample parking for the size of the pub.
Really enjoyed the food, it came out very hot and there wasn't too much of a wait in getting the food. I didn't get the bar man's name but he was very friendly and made sure everything went to well as it did. I will definitely be returning again.
