"This restaurant is an experience, not just a meal! My partner and I had the seafood set menu, with the cheese course. All the set menus looked lovely and were all varying prices to suit most budgets. Our starter and main were absolutely fantastic lobster dishes, the selection of cheeses was extensive and the desserts were interesting, different and beautifully presented. The food was all exceptional and explained very well by our waitress (who we believe was also the owner). The love that goes into all the food and service was very obvious and made for a fabulous meal on our last evening of holiday. If you're in the area, you have to come here!!!"

"After much rain and wind we woke on a sunny day in la roche bernard and decided to take a short trip to one of our favorites rochefort en terre. I've never seen it so quiet and after a walk was le pelican open for lunch. it is a very old traditional restaurant with a large open fire. they had a set 3-course lunch for 19 € with a selection of two items per curs. everything was homemade and well presented and the service was excellent. I had the starter of my mannes. we both had the hake and a pear tea for dessert with a glass of wine. it was excellent. we visit rochefort regularly and will eat there definitiw again. end calculation €47, which was very good."
