What Jennifer Collins likes about The High Cross:
good value for money, as always. I can recommend the bark madras and wobble bajis on Curry night. personal pleasant and helpful, especially the manager, who sorts a problem with my bill. only 4 stars, as they do not seem to force the smoking / pampering in the designated opposite outside. What Molly Kelly doesn't like about The High Cross:
I visited this pub for dinner ordered a curry with a hot drink. I had to ask for a mug for my hot drink which I don't think I would have received if I had not asked for it! The curry was ok but...never as good as an Indian restaurant. The naan bread was very greasy covered in what I guess was oil? View all feedback.
Decor is like a cross between a 1966 Chevy Fleetwood Station wagon, a Nixon/Fossil wooden handle wrist watch and something on the back of a 1973 Blind Faith...
Cool 60s interior with a very trendy atmosphere. Cool music and a cool, posery crowd. It's nice to go for an early drink, it'll be rammed later. Pricey.
