Not been for a while and since Black Country took it over. Nice ‘ old fashioned’ fairly recently fitted out pub, some great beers including when visited , Oakham Inferno , one of my favourites!! Similar set up/ beers to the Kings Head in King St which is a sister Black Country pub. After the last review and hoping for better things after a re-fit a return visit was made. The refit is substantial in both format and design but banquet seating is debatable as one person seems to occupy a lot of space. The very poor famous cob”s are still a shadow of their previous standards. Worse still the beer was in poor condition.
