"We drove here for dinner from Batalha where we were staying. We arrived at 6.30pm and it was obvious they were setting up for a busy night. Our orders were taken promptly, grilled sea bass, and drinks brought; we'd asked for orange juice but what we got was more like orange cordial. The meal came about 20 minutes later, a whole fish served with broccoli and potatoes. The waiter proceeded to remove the fish from the bone and did a good job. There was plenty of food and it was tasty, however it cost EUR53 for the fish for the 2 of us which we felt was expensive by Portuguese restaurant standards."
