"There were not many vegan options. not all speak English very well, so she does not understand “vegan”. but there is a vegan dahl that is delicious! the lookout is amazing so I really recommend this place. There are also 2 rabbits, they are so sweet."

"Visited for dinner on a weeknight. Ate outside and ordered Fish Chips and the Vegetable Pie. Menu had some traditional pub choices as well as salads and burgers. Great service. Laid back , friendly environment—order food and drinks at the bar and they will...deliver to your table."

"We had a nice stay here. we were able to book connection rooms (the brunette rooms) as we were on the move with our children and it worked great. the rooms were not luxurious, but they were very comfortable and had all the space and conveniences we needed. wengen is beautiful and hotel baren was in a great location on the main street, but very close to for easy access. the eating was extraordinary that we made the mistake not to book half board and eat it there twice, because it was the best in the city. we only speak English and communication with the employees was very easy."
