What User likes about Himalayan:
On route to Sligo, we stopped off in C-on-S and dined in Himalayan... if you can get over the slightly dated decor (which, actually, shound not change as it reminds me of dining in northern India/ Southern Nepal), you will not be disappointed with the...quality of food ... it's fresh, it's flavoursome, its plentiful... the service couldn't be faulted for their laissez faire regard for the clock...it only allows time... Nice ambience here and food was piping hot. Our prawn puri starters were very salty and not the best quality ingredients. One dish the chicken tikka maslsa was pale and over flavoured with coconut and definitely not a masala more a passanda.The guy serving was...very polite and helpful and on balance we would go back and give it one more try. The restaurant gladly provides children's chairs for babies and toddlers, and there's a counter where you can sit and have. If the weather are right, you can also eat outside, and there is a eating area with chairs/tables.
