"The first time we came in, we had great service and the soup was amazing. Really hearty, tasty and wonderfully warm for the cold day. We chatted with the owner and he was super friendly and welcoming. We came again when we passed by Leknes the next day, and this time the woman behind the counter was pretty rude. Maybe just a lost in translation sort of thing but we felt a little uncomfortable."

"Waiters and the waitress were very nice and the interior is lovely, however, we did not enjoy our lunch there. We ordered fish and chips. Fish was very dry, chips I can make better at home. Sauce was nice. Two stars from me. I would not go back."

"Me and my wife went here a couple of days ago, avoid this place like the plague if you are hungry and love pizza. The other Peppe's restaurants we visited were amazing but this was the low point of our trip. We waited 40 minutes to get in, not many people in the queue and lots of free tables. Service was terrible and slow. Did not get the orders right and I had to ask for bearnaise sauce three times. Felt like we bothered the staff by being there. We were seated at a small table and there was not enough room for our food and our plates. When we tried to show our waiter how difficult it was to eat on such a small table, he did not care and did not try to make our visit more enjoyable in any way. The food was the least tasty of all the Peppe's we visited and this was our only negative experience on Lofoten. If you want a much better experience, try Peppe's pizza Svolvær."

"They offer a lot of main dishes from Italian and Mediterranean cuisine roasted and grilled meeting, burger, spaghetti and pizza. the prices are reasonable for norweger and the service is good. we had a kebab menu that was more like chopped bark in a heavy, and spaghetti bolognes. again taste was ok, nothing special."

"I saw in tourist brochures and on the notice outside that Borgtun Kro at 8360 Bøstad in Norway was a Kafe Pub, so I went. It is not a pub at all and did not sell beer. The staff did not even know if or when it would sell beer, despite the fact it had a bar plus a beer pump. It was not even a convenient cafe or kafe either because it does not open until 12 midday! A good cafe should be open at 07:00 or sooner to sell breakfast. Borgtun Kro at 8360 Bøstad was the most inconvenient place I found after 4 weeks in Norway going from Bergen to Nordkapp and back, so I do not recommend Borgtun Kro to anybody."
