ALWAYS COURTEOUS STAFF, GOOD SOUTHERN FOOD, CHRISTIAN FAMILY ORIENTED.

New to the area and decided to check out a local resturant. I had seen the ads on the tv so I thought it would be a nice place for the family to check out. Wow.. so wrong. Yes, very nice people that work there but when the food came to the table it was giving a fair chance sadly 40.00 down the drain. Came home and about a 45 mins later in the bathroom sick.. very sick like food poision sick. The rest of the family sick... The meal was not worth coming home to be sick. Also a high chair would have been nice. I saw on the wall that the health department rating was high like a 95 which is great place looked clean. I would not advise or recommend eating here.

Best Southern home cooking in Wilmington or Leland!! The meatloaf and chicken n pastry are some of my favorites! Great staff and Owner's are truly loving, amazing people :

Went to Shirley's Diner to get some seafood, the meal was amazing. Great large Flounder and Shrimp plate, so good and NOT a high price. I'm going back soon!

Had a delicious flounder plate with many trims. hubby had pork chops, tasty and seasoned perfectly. very friendly atmosphere, good service.
