This is a little restaurant with excellent pizzas, salads, baked goods, and wines. We ordered a pizza with lots of veggies on a thin crust and a little gem salad with grilled peaches and hazelnuts tossed in a champagne vinaigrette. Both were delicious. Very fresh ingredients. Keep in mind that this is a tiny place with 4-5 tables adjacent to an open kitchen inside and about another 6 tables outside. Not fancy. View all feedback.
What Tyler Kriletich doesn't like about Majka Pizzeria Bakery:
They created a hazardous chemical spill by mixing bleach and ammonia outside that burned my face and caused blisters. Says a lot that they caused injury to people without a second thought. View all feedback.
Sometimes you go to a restaurant because it has a dish you know you’ll love and sometimes you go a restaurant where the chef is so talented you allow them to serve you dishes you would not previously have touched. This place is the latter. Minimal in its operation without ever feeling pretentious or austere, Majka is a total gem. Never would I have thought that such an excessive list of ingredients would fit on a single pie and taste so good, Majka blew all expectations out of the water. Majka pizzas have that rare quality usually only found in brick wood-oven pizzas found on some refurbished farm off the highway in Nowhere, USA. This is pizza that will satisfy your friends who just want to shove a hot hearty slice in their face and your pretentious city friends that would look down on you mixing up broccolini and broccoli rabe. 10/10, no notes.
Best closest thing to Cheese Board (from Berkeley) in Sacramento. Love it!
Great pizza, just like Cheese Board in Berkeley. Unfortunately, it is a bit more expensive that Cheese Board.
Pizza of the day never disappoints and their salad is always delicious!
Delicious Saturday secret menu and pizza! Great wine selection!
