"Wanted to try this place a long time but seemed to always be on days they were closed. First was disappointed that I drove to Lethbridge based on the online menus on their website only to realize it wasn’t the same menu which as a chef I know this is a culinary no no. Pork souvlaki was very tough, pizza crust very tough, my lasagna was ok. Wife asked for a sliver of donair meat to try but we couldn’t possible do that. Very disappointing"

"I like Egg's Benny, so when I heard that this "Cafe Stella" had Eggs benny- I had to try it! First let me say- We cook healthy and good at home, which affects the judgement and therefor don't go out to eat too often... I had their eggs benny with the ham. ( My favorite is back bacon) I really didn't care for the homemade biscuit, under the egg and sauce, it made the biscuit way too soggy (since I like my egg soft). The sauce was ok. They deep fry large cubed potatoes which, I think is a sin! Hashbrowns should be grilled NOT deep fried. -Again my opinion, I used to be in the field.My husband had the scrambler, he didn't care for their strong sausage. The homemade jam was great, but unfortunately some of his toast was on the burnt side. We probably ate half the meal. I'll try the one across the street next time. Perhaps try these guys for a lunch to see if that's any better.The place is very clean.Service was good- except reminding the waiter that we wanted milk with the meal....But EVERY restaurant seems to forget, we are used to it. P.S. I have been a waitress before."

"We ordered here a couple of days ago. Our first time there in quite a while.I was not impressed.The place has gone WAY down hill. With the Enchiladas, there used to be scoops of refries and scoops of rice now only one small one...each. There's a sign there that says "due to the price of beef, there will be an extra charge for anything with beef The VERY SMALL amount of shredded beef on one of my enchiladas was so tough, I couldn't chew it. The shredded pork on the other one was almost non-existent. There was no heat to the HOT SAUCE either. We will never go back."

"I've been coming here for years and have had great service, good food. Tonight will likely be the last. It took us 15 minutes to talk a guy through making our food and he put tiny amounts of everything on. Enchiladas shouldn't have one teaspoon of sauce on it and hardly any meat. The new plates are much smaller as well. Not impressed. Both plates weigh less together than one used to."

"First time ever trying . Rolls were much larger than expecting , caterpillar roll was amazing the best Ell I have had. Tempura beautifully crispy with lots of variety, smaller portion than my usual place and much smaller dip. Cost approximately equal to favourite though this was majority vegetable on plus side they have a Huge Variety of Vegetable options Thou ."
