"Great food, very large portion. Only issue with the place is that the menu boards showing the 4 stages of selection.....type of wrap, main filling, sauce etc are placed in the wrong order so stages are 4,3,2,1. This will make it awkward when it is busy"

"Lucas save the day. I was on a date and between the jigs and the rollers of the nerves and eager wanted to eat something delicious, I forgot to the lighter in my car before in the restaurant, rookie error! the dinner went well, eating was fantastic and the staff was nice as always, the things went in the right direction. fast forward to return to my car, I could see the weak lights on my dashboard. a cold sweat broke when I quickly referred to my mistake, catastrophic! to the happiness she is cool, so we laugh. I went back to ask for a few jumping lines, to which none of them were going. but the other man (I guess) thinks of his feet and sends a worker into the load to buy some jumping ladder. Now neither of us are the mechanically minded men, but strongly willing and a bit of food about us the leads at the right place and we live and kick again. all well ends well, thank you young for the retaliation of the evening!"

"This was our second visit to the Silver Tassie and on both occasions we called in for lunch . We were not disappointed. As well as a daily carvery there was a great choice of lite bites menu. We opted for the carvery this time and it was delicious and good portions. Good home cooked food is how I would describe it.. Plenty of seating and a lovely atmosphere plus good parking. A very busy place as carvery is from 12 noon 2.30pm...worth the visit ."
