What User likes about The Royal Oak:
we drove last night into the pub for the vintage pizza van who wasn't there. but we were not disappointed! instead we had such a fantastic meal great starter, delicious sea roast, all beautifully presented, with a perfect white wine. this pub has gone in recent years under the new renter of power to power, love the decor, love the atmosphere, love eating. we were a group of 25-30 with a car club lunch and a game of skittles. the skittles gasse is located in its own functional space on the side of the pub, so was ideal for the purpose. when it was pre-ordered, we had three. Dishes including a vegetarian and judged by the numbers that went up for seconds, we were not alone to appreciate the eating. so hate the kitchen team, even those behind the bar take care of us, man... I gave up the chance and squeezed in. beautiful eating the teig on the deep fried halloumi was beautiful and the service was perfect
