Didn't plan to go here but parked outside and it looked inviting. Overall glad we did. Good coffee, and really tasty open sandwich (top marks). Staff were friendly but they managed to forget my carrot cake and coffee and when I reminded them it was too late as they had sold all the carrot cake. What 538eahhn doesn't like about Cafe Oscars:
This cafe used to be a very nice and affordable place to go with friends or family. I am now left feeling ripped off and disgusted by the 'lunch ' options and ridiculously small portions. The little amount of food was at least tasty, but I am still bemused by how these people are allowed to get away with this. The newly renovated coffee is not as cozy as it used to be, but it remains a pleasant decoration. The coffee was a bit bitter but the cinnamon bread was lovely....
