What Susana N likes about Chai's Garden:
A hidden gem in the heart of Nunhead. Great in the summer as there are many outdoor spaces. The interior has traditional thai features including warm ambient sounds whilst dining. The food is inexpensive and fresh, it is run by the family which makes the home made feeling dazzle. Friendly waiters and waitresses highly recommend visiting. What LDNGIRLSE1 doesn't like about Chai's Garden:
It was very quiet when me and friends arrived. Waitress seemed unwelcoming and not once during our 2 hour stay, she ever smiled. Food was okay. It used to be better many years ago. I felt disappointed. Pub next door, hardly any seats at all so had to sit outside. Won't be coming back to either the pub or restaurant. The only improvement here is the outdoor seating area.
