Frying Squad - Lewisham

Visit them regularly. eating is great and not overpriced. my favorite is the chicken donor. always made perfect. it will leave the school in the afternoon or when children leave the school, but they never wait longer than 10 minutes to get their food. great small place in hither green.

I actually didn't end up eating anything from The Frying Squad as I didn't get the chance. I had my bike with me so poked my head around the door to enquire whether they took card before I locked it up. There were 2 men...behind the counter chatting to each other with one other customer sitting waiting for his food on a quiet Sunday afternoon. I said excuse me 6 times with increasing volume from the door. Both men were in earshot about 2 metres away from where I was standing. I was completely ignored. So I left, disgusted at their rudeness.

This has be in the family (and friends) go to spot for chips. Great taste, good texture, not over greasy. They do a nice burger too and excellent fish. Above the high quality food and low prices, the staff are always friendly and helpful. Would...recommend it to anyone who is nearby.

Great fish and chips. The kebabs are good as well, not greasy like others can be. The gentlemen who work there are friendly and make good old fashioned fish as chips. You can even get curry sauce!!
