"We visited for a first time for a special occasion for 3 of us. Our server was delightful and attentive. They have a nice selection of wines and whiskeys. The food was mostly good, but it seemed a bit pretentious and over priced. All the food has sauces, nuts, special preparations, so it was a struggle to find something for a limited palate in our group. The highlights of our meal were the caesar salad, pretzel bread, and beef tatake starter. The scallops were very good. I tried the beef Wellington, which was decent, but not something I'll order again. The sides, though plentiful, were all a bit much in their flavors. The brussel sprouts were way too sweet, almost drenched in a glaze. The risotto was mushy and also sweet. We did like the broccolini, it had a nice smoky flavor, but we'd asked for it without the sauce on it, so I imagine it was probably normally sweet also. We split an espresso creme brulee. I didn't think it had much of a coffee flavor, plus the custard hadn't fully set. The decor is really interesting and I loved the wood and bits of ther original building. We want to go back and try the dry aged steaks and maybe some different sides. Be prepared to spend some cash."
