What User doesn't like about Spring Creek Barbeque:
very friendly and helpful staff. the rolls were a big hit. I ordered a chopped brisket plate with fries, so I could only get 1 page. I was not impressed by the good. it was more on the dry side for me. I was told that I ordered that. I would come back, but this time I would order the bun and not definitiw the braut. Restaurant staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient. I had the Twosome combo with a chopped beef sandwich and baked potato. The barbecue sauce was a little on the sweet side, but otherwise the food was very tasty.
This chain always has good food but some visits are even better than good. There was no wait but there was a good crowd already there just after 1pm. Meat and warm veggies were warm, not quite hot but very close. Cold items were pretty chilled. Prices are up but that is everywhere today. Staff kept tables clean and served the hot rolls and Blue Bell promptly. This is a great spot for group or family meetings. This location was convenient for our spread out group and easily accessible from I-35E. Any time you want BBQ this is a good choice, weekly if nearby and can afford it. Perfect choice for any group meeting.
Visiting from Arkansas. Food was AMAZING! Not bad priced either considering the portion sizes. They bring hot rolls to the tables too. The banana pudding is a MUST! Will definitely have to come back!
Brisket wasn’t clean, it was very fatty and all the burnt parts of the outside was served in the portion, my wife ordered a kids meal most of the brisket was salty and the burnt parts of it
Bar-b-Q was excellent, sides were good, bread items were not acceptable considering cost. restaurant is clean, bathrooms clean, adequate parking but its hard to get to parking lot if you miss turn in. The buns I ordered for sandwiches and the rolls were day old at best . The sliced brisket, chopped brisket were on point . The sides were also good and in comparrison to other chain BBQ restaurants were superior. Im saying the sides were good but not great. The manager was clean, well spoken and friendly and was the defintion of professional. My biggest gripe was you could not get your own pickles, onions for yourself etc... Im spoiled by Dickeys never ending free pickles, onions, bar-b-q sauces, soft serve ice-cream etc...I would like to take the best of Dickey's and the best of Spring Creek and make my ideal B-B-Q restaurant. I would like to add that Sping Creek doesn't offer a basic family meal package i.e small meal package 1 meat, 2 sides etc. I bought 2 lbs of meat , 3 large sides, buns and rolls and it was right at 100 bucks this much food at Dickeys is maybe 75 dollars. You have to buy everything seperately. Dickey's has better family meal prices and a better more complete family meal package in general. If given the choice of Dickeys vs Spring Creek I would pick Dickeys but I wouldn't go out of my way to go to one or the other. I would give Spring Creek 6.5 out of 10 spoons lol. Wheelchair accessibility: There is alot of room between tables ideal for wheel chairs and large people
