What German Jelačić doesn't like about TGI FRIDAYS - Lewisville:
He waited 45 minutes to receive his entire order. 15 minutes later, the final drink he ordered finally arrived. Despite many excuses, what should have taken no more than an hour ended up lasting two hours. View all feedback.
Six of us went for a light dinner after a show. We shared appetizers, all of which were super! My brother had a salad (arugula, red and yellow beets, pistachios and creme fraiche) which he declared the best he'd ever eaten. Very pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff. The only thing missing was a glass of wine and a few beers... it's BYO, which we didn't realize.

The appetizers at Thea's were excellent, with the Brie Brulee being unbelievably delicious. The beet salad and garden salad were refreshingly cold, crisp, very tasty, and a superb bite. However, the entrees didn't quite live up to expectations. The crab and shrimp pasta had succulent shrimp but the homemade rigatoni were undercooked. The Gyro Platte had taziki sauce hidden underneath everything, making it difficult to access, and the meat was soft and crumbly. The salmon was fantastic, as were the potatoes and beets, but the greens were chewy and not very enjoyable. The blueberry panna cotta lacked flavor, but the mousse cake had a heavenly crust. The coffee was strong, tasty, and had no bitterness. Overall, I would recommend Thea's for fabulous appetizers and a great beet salad, but the entrees were not up to par.
This was our first time at Thea but it won't be our last! Everything from the food to the service was first class. The decor is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Love that it is a BYOB. The arugula beet salad was amazing and our entrees were equally impressive.
Thea is a BYOB so be sure to bring a bottle or two! We did a variety of the appetizers and salads instead of doing entrées. We started with the Brie and berry salad and the flatbread du jour, which was a vegetable flatbread. Both were excellent! We then got the beet and arugula salad, the truffle Parmesan frites, and the assorted crustini. These were excellent as well, definitely get the Parmesan truffle frites!!! We both prefered the beet salad to the Brie salad. We then got the Brie brûlée as our dessert. Totally amazing! A must!!!
