"I would recommend this place to a friend. It's nice. The only thing I felt could have been better is I had made reservations ahead of time, and was specific in that reservation that we had a rough day and this was a special getaway evening and wanted it to be special. We were seated by the door. That kind of took away from the experience overall"

"First time trying out Kenny’s and we loved it! Fried chicken was delish!!! Honey biscuits were so yummy, the fries were perfectly crunchy and seasoned, and even the sweet tea was on point! We also got a footlong hot dog that hit the spot with some apple pies that were sooooo good! We will be back!!! "The place was very busy, but nevertheless the entire staff had literally run, catering to any guess. Our waiter Marshal was amazing There was also one of the hostess Victoria who ran out with a pitcher with water bc ran a fried plant with a cigarette lit... I think she was the same one that ran with a hat that left a guest. Waiting was long, but the food was great and the service was excellent!"

"This was my first visit to Haywood's. I have been excited to dine there after passing by the restaurant many times. The restaurant itself is cozy and intimate. They had live music that was pleasant to enjoy while dining. We had made reservations and were seated next to the bar. Very comfortable seating away from the cold! Dinner was delicious and the steak cooked just as we asked. If my review was based just on the above, I would have left a 5 star review. However, service was very lackluster. The waiter was very energetic when he greeted us but after our drink orders were taken, it went downhill from there. I feel as though we were completely forgotten about and not because he was too busy. I say that because he was seen at the bar talking to other staff, too loudly as he was told to be quiet by a coworker, making cocktails any thing but asking if we would like more bread, more water, clearing our plates after finishing entree, etc. I enjoy a long dining experience, however I do not like to have long conversations over food plates that should have been cleared over 20 minutes ago. I will go back as the food was good and maybe I will be lucky to have a different server."
