"The staff hear was very friendly and hospitable. Prices were ok for the shrimp and steak fajitas meal with free chips and salsa. Tortillas were hot and food tasted really good. We loved the large selection of bottled drinks for $2.50 each. The kids meal was $7.50 for 1/4 of a cheese quesadilla and fries...not the best deal."

"We were driving through NE and after a quick search and a little diversion away from 80 found ourselves at Madeline's. They have a great location which gives people the chance to see an older part of Lexington. The menu is great for on the go food but the inside is clean and relaxing. It will definitely be a stopping point for us on future trips."

"I stopped in to take my 10 hour break from driving all night and morning to grab a home cooked meal. Restaurant was clean and well maintained. I enjoyed a salad from the salad bar which had the BEST macaroni salad I have ever had. It’s made in house and it truly was amazing’ I also enjoyed the pork cutlet sandwich, which was juicy, tender and flavorful, the fries were hot, crispy and well seasoned. The service from Andrea was impeccable! She was polite, friendly and outgoing. A welcomed change from the not so great service you get at chain restaurants nowadays. I will most certainly be stopping here again and will hope Andrea is the one taking care of me! Big thanks to Kirks Restaurant for providing us truck drivers with a place to get a good home cooked meal while we are away from home and our loved ones!!"

"Their food is so good! Especially the rice. Only thing is that they are very busy.. it takes a while to get your food and it’s almost impossible to call and get it ahead to go... also the dining room was very packed with people simply because no one could sit down to eat because all of the tables were dirty with old dishes. I was in here for 40 minutes and not one table was cleaned off during this time..."
