"Enjoyed the food but underwhelmed considering the hype of the restaurant. We were seated at at the bar overlooking the kitchen which was interesting viewing, but we were served from behind which was awkward and there wasn't much room for all the small plates. The corn bread was delicious! We also had the fresh catch (red snapper that day) which was pretty good and the butternut squash ravioli. The lamb osso bucco (giouvetti) had a weird cut of meat. Overall it was good but not amazing."

"Sitting is tight and it is a hole in the wall, but eating was worth the trip of maryland. we ordered the margarita pizza and the campeanelle. service was great and courteous. first the sauce. to the point! it has a fresh and coughing that all illuminates their dishes. the cing of the tomato made my mouth flatter when I eat it. second: pasta and broth. perfectly cooked and are perfect vehicles for the sauce. the pasta had chorizo shadings above, which added a salty n smokey profile for which was to die. there was a perfect balance instead of an overwhelming oiliness, from which I generally know."

"Bauernhof new American kitchen served in a cozy, living room-like ambiente. the menu was well cured with seasonal ingredients (sp. beautiful vegetables and green) and nicely executed in the open kitchen. the dishes are rich in aromen, but not overly complicated. enjoys everything we have ordered, especially the Fiddlehead Cavaltelli. the tasting menu is available on the table with reservation. also large selection of wine and seasonal cocktails."

"We ordered take out, and everything was ready within 20 25 minutes. We ordered 6 sushi dishes and the gyoza. Everything was great and nothing was wrong. Try their special roll with strawberries; definitely a unique and tasty item."
