The atmosphere and the food here have to be disappointed. I had the fried chicken sandwich for the first time. The piece of chicken was just the right amount crispy with the whole alertness still there while completely cooked by. They add a honey drop sauce to the chicken... It was amazing. What User doesn't like about The Root Cellar:
Food was good but had to knock off some stars for the service. Had to ask multiple times for drinks refills. Waitress forgot to bring salads before the entrées. Got sides incorrect. Had to ask for Togo containers 3 times times. Only downside to the food were the grits were very plain. We all know if you don't cook them with salt it's very tough to get them right.
