"Could no longer ask of a fun and helpful staff. that is my first trip to Europe, so I am not sure whether this is above or below the standard, but I say that this is above the norm for europa. make sure to open any door and drawer because my mini fridge was hidden in my writing. I'm glad to come back home to my memory foam bed, but they're enough. breakfast I was blown away with the options. so used to the Continental style and that is so much more. publishes a video and a few still pictures of the breakfast not tied to this review. dinner in the house restaurant has a good mix of eating and asking a funny staff. also they have ice, that is not always an option in europa. laundry service doesn't run at the weekend, but the idea for me during the week was the same day when I had the dings up to them early to breakfast."

"This café is a popular lunch destination in Lidköping serving ‘dagens’ (meal of the day) at a typical price of 89 kronor per head. There is a quaint, homely feel about the place – ‘Skafferiet’ means ‘The Larder’ – and the café serves excellent fare...which can best be described as ‘wholesome home cooking’. There is a choice of several hot dishes, with examples on display which have been prepared earlier to tempt the palate, plus a number of alternative salad dishes. The side-salad table is, in our experience, rather minimalist/frugal by Swedish ‘dagens’ standards, but this doesn’t detract from the overall experience which is generally excellent. This is not ‘fine dining’ and the atmosphere is by no means intimate or cosy (especially if it’s crowded), but if you’re after a quick, hearty, well-priced meal at lunchtime then Skafferiet shouldn’t disappoint."
