Les Trois Amis (The Three Friends) is the restaurant on lake of Biel with the best pan fried local fish. On a warm weekday sit in the cosy garden under the trees and look over the lake to St-Peters island (where you find another great fish restaurant in a historical hotel, where French philosopher Rousseau lived) and enjoy perch pikes or other freshly caught local fish. Some details that we think could be improved. Sterile, uncomfortable atmosphere, especially in the small hall on the upper floor. Bare wooden tables with simple placemats, no cutlery, these are placed on the table in a wooden box. We have already been to a few upscale restaurants that have been awarded several Michelin stars.
