"When you think of a diner, Ruthies is definitely it! We were stopping for coffee when we were out on the Bike, Parking lot was Jam Packed so we ended up sitting at the front barstools then we checked out the menu and ended up getting some Lunch! My wife got the Wings Basket (Breaded Wings were Delicious) I got a Hot Dog with Kraut Gravy Fries (Both Delicious) !! Definitely has a Diner Atmosphere and Feel and they have a bunch of regulars because the waitresses called a lot of customers by their names! Would definitely go back to try their Breakfast!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"The kitchen on the Main is, hands down, our favorite restaurant. We live in Greensburg, but come about once a month to Ligonier only for lunch in the kitchen. We never had a bad experience. While my honey is stuck on the Ham Brie (which makes me think about it only), I tried to work my way through the menu and every meal hurts me just like that before; I can't help, but Mmm with every bite. Yesterday I had the duck sandwich and, OMD, that was wonderful. Everything is always so tasteful and fresh. We always recommend the kitchen to our friends."

"I accidentally picked up this place from other Google reviews, and I'm so glad I did. My husband and I were always restaurant people and it was an experience to start seeing my son, on what makes GOOD food, really good. I chose the garlic Aglio Olio, wanted some light and my son chose the adult spaghetti and wanted more meatballs. The pasta was made from scratch and it was amazing. Fresh and tasty I was blown away. My child was also, from his first bite he went on and about how it was the best spaghetti he ever had in his life. He really wanted the recipe and asked our waitress (I think Amber??? I'm so sorry, I'm so bad with names!! but I expected the courtesy refusal, and took advantage of the opportunity to my son over “references to the cook”. What I didn't expect was that Chef Katie came to the table and spoke to my son. What a pleasure. My child got the opportunity to tell the boss how much he loved her recipe and how it was the best he ever had. She laughed when he asked about the recipe and joked that he had to work in her kitchen before she would tell him. Thank you for the wonderful meal and the beautiful memory. I'll come back one point if we're ever close and on the street. This was a shiny jewel on our summer road, I appreciate it so much!! I could not recommend this place enough!"
