What Mehrdad Arastoo doesn't like about Poissonnerie Mediterranéenne:
We had a great night with our friends at this restaurant. I liked the idea of choosing your fresh fish and letting them to cook for you. Personally did not liked the grilled fish, but the calamari was good and the shrimp was excellent, the staff was very warm and friendly, the vibe was ok. No stress for parking place, there are a lot of them. View all feedback.
Great fresh fish cooked to order. One of the cleanest places of this kind I've ever been too.

Every visit is like coming home to a culinary family, with the friendly staff always remembering my favorite dishes and the owners often stopping by for a quick chat. The fish is perpetually fresh, skillfully prepared, and satisfying to the core. What sets this place apart is not only the quality of the food but the genuine warmth that makes every dining experience special. The fair pricing is just the cherry on top. Whether it's my first visit or my fiftieth, Restaurant Poissonnerie Mediterranéenne never fails to exceed expectations. It's no wonder I keep coming back!
Decent place to buy fish or have them cook it for you. We ate there. It's not a restaurant, but there's a couple of seats to stop and grab a quick and healthy lunch. The food is decent, but the location and general atmosphere are bad. We were asked for change by 2 different homeless people on our way in and out. Next time, I would probably take my food to go.
Absolutely hands down the best fish restaurant and market in Montréal. Family run and when I walk in there, I feel like I’m part of the family. I’ve been coming to this restaurant since it opened years ago. The food is exquisite, the service impeccable, clean and the highest quality fish…great prices…The BEST! I love it there SO much…I could eat the everyday…
A beautiful fish place to eat. Choose what you want freshly picked, and they cook it for you. Delicious, they use olive oil in all their dressings. Reasonably priced. Try grilled red snapper, Black Sea bass, or black cod.
