What beverleydave likes about Melting Pot:
Extensive menu with 3 courses for a very reasonable 30 Euros (supplements on a few dishes) we started with the tuna tartare (felt a bit 'watered down ' by the quinoa) and a very delicious scallop Thai broth. For mains we had the prawn risotto and the veal with black pasta and to finish we went for the plantain spring rolls and the brioche with caramelised apples and ice cream. Based on the Tripadvisor reviews we strolled in and found a table outside. Nice staff, good weather so what could go wrong. The food was beyond disappointing, maybe the chef was on holiday and a temp with zero cooking experience had taken over. The chicken with coconut milk was just that.
